United Way Campaign Materials

The 2011 Campaign will kickoff on September 20th. You can find all the resources you need to run a successful campaign at your workplace here.

15th Annual Day of Caring

logoThe Day of Caring is set for September 29th, and will once again feature the Wendy Thibeault Memorial Food and Supplies Drive.

The collections will begin at area businesses, schools and other organizations, and will run though September until the Day of Caring. On the D.O.C. volunteers will drive around to pick up all of the items collected and bring them to the Burch Building at Suggett Park to be sorted and distributed to all of the Cortland County Food Pantries. Community members are invited to bring items on the 29th to the collection site.

What happens to your United Way donation?

United Way member agencies receive money for their programs based on an allocations process run by volunteers. The decisions are based on what important needs the program is meeting in Cortland County. But how do they determine what is important?
