American Red Cross provides free blood pressure screening the 2nd Friday of each month at the Cincinnatus True Value. Disaster Services provides relief to victims of fires, floods, or other disasters through shelter, meals, personal items, needed prescriptions, clothing, shoes, groceries, household items, and other needs as determined by the disaster. AFES (Armed Forces Emergency Services) provides emergency verification/communication for military personnel and their families. Community Services offers Emergency Energy assistance to individuals or families for fuel oil/propane gas, prevention of shut-off notices, or repair of heating equipment through one of the three emergency assistance programs administered by the American Red Cross after all other available community resources have been exhausted. A bloodmobile is offered through the Cincinnatus High School to provide an opportunity for residents to donate blood. Blood is available to those who need it throughout Cortland County. A semi-annual schedule of training courses in Health & Safety for CPR and First Aid is available at the office and can be mailed to anyone interested in class participation. It can also be accessed via the Cortland Red Cross' web page at www.redcross.org/ny/cortland.

Madison Cortland ARC is available to school districts, county agencies, professionals and local families to provide needed services to people with developmental disabilities.

Catholic Charities distributes school supplies in August, they offer Teen Services to pregnant, parenting or at-risk teens, Young Men's Club for young men between 12-21, a Basic Needs Assistance Program which includes emergency transportation, prescription medication, work related materials and clothing, The Christmas Basket - a complete Christmas meal, and Food Pantry.

Cortland Area Childcare Council trains childcare providers in Cincinnatus and refers parents

Lime Hollow Nature Center presents programs and speakers to schools and community groups

Mental Health Association offers a Mental Health Digest at the Cincinnatus Medical Center and Kellogg Free Library. Cincinnatus residents have attended or participated in the Reach-Basics Program. In addition, MHA offers support to families in Cincinnatus.

Parents working in Cortland use Cortland Child Development program

Franziska Racker Centers (formerly Special Children's Center) assists families throughout the county whose children have special needs. Preschool programs, services, and evaluations.

YWCA Aid to Victims of Violence hotline is available to Cincinnatus residents as needed, YWCA swim lessons available during the summer through the month of July (4 week session). Breast/ovarian cancer support activities available, Bridges for Kids mentoring program available.
