The United Way for Cortland County is proud to present our first sneaker drive fundraiser. Our goal is to collect 2,500 pairs of gently used athletic shoes from November 1 through November 30 – but we can’t do it without you.

We know that most people have extra sneakers in their closets they would like to donate rather than throw away. By donating gently worn and new sneakers people will make a difference in individual’s lives around the world and here at home.

Who Will Benefit?

~  Children in Cortland County who need sneakers 

~  The United Way for Cortland County and community partners

~  The environment - by keeping used sneakers out of landfills

~   Individuals in developing nations like who can become

     economically self-sufficient selling the repurposed shoes
